TANCIS Declaration Filing
We prepare and lodge your import or export declaration directly through the Tanzania Customs Integrated System (TANCIS). Every field is verified for accuracy — commodity codes, valuation, weight, and quantity — before submission to avoid rejection or amendment requests from customs officers.
Correct HS code classification is the foundation of accurate duty calculation. Our team classifies your goods under the East African Community Common External Tariff, computes import duty, VAT, excise duty where applicable, and any other levies — giving you a clear, accurate duty estimate before your cargo even arrives.

 

When customs selects a consignment for physical examination, our agents are on the ground at the port to represent you. We coordinate inspection scheduling, prepare examination documentation, and liaise directly with TRA officers to ensure the process is smooth and fast.
 Once duties are paid and customs approves release, we obtain the official release order from Tanzania Revenue Authority and coordinate with Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) for container or cargo handover. We manage this process actively — not passively — to minimise port demurrage.
